Will I really hear the live show from the boat?
Yes. The Rady Shell is an open-air waterfront venue and sound carries clearly over the bay. This is the actual live performance, heard from the deck.
What time do we leave, and is that early enough?
Yes. The event opens at 3:00 PM with opening acts. Boarding begins by 1:30 PM and JADA departs no later than 2:00 PM, which gives enough time to get across and anchored before the first act. Black Coffee's own set time has not been announced — this is a full-evening event.
How long is the show expected to run, and when do we get back?
3:00 PM is the event open/doors time, with opening acts starting then. Black Coffee's specific set time has not been published — for a headliner of his caliber at an outdoor amphitheater, expect him to go on well into the evening. Plan for a late return, likely 10:00 PM or later depending on when his set ends and harbor conditions. We will communicate a more specific return estimate once the running order is announced.
What is included, and what should we bring?
A reasonable champagne and charcuterie setup is included. If your group wants to build that out into more of a full party spread, you are very welcome to bring additional food and drinks that suit your plans.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes. BYOB and your own picnic are part of the concept. We do not describe this as an open bar or catered event, and we do not promise hot food service.
What happens if the minimum guest count is not met?
This cruise goes forward once 14 seats are booked. If that minimum is not reached by 48 hours before the show, the event does not go forward and paid guests receive a full refund.
How does payment work?
Your booking request creates a short hold. You then use the payment method you selected at checkout. For manual methods, include your confirmation number in the payment note. Once payment is confirmed, you receive a paid confirmation email.
Where do I board?
You can board directly at the Sheraton dock on Harbor Island, or if it is more convenient I can pick you up by tender at the dock on Coronado Island. Choose the option you want when you book so the boarding plan is clean before departure.
